Early in the morning on July 7, at the finals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2013 in Beijing, Changzhou player Xue Chen and her teammate Zhang Xi claimed the champions of World Championship for the first time. They not only created a record of Chinese beach volleyball, but also broke the domination of Brazil and the United States on this program.
Xue Chen is the 18th world champion of Changzhou.
