On the morning of September 27, party secretary Mr. Yan Li and deputy party secretary & acting mayor Mr. Fei Gaoyun met with the delegations of international sister cities at the administrative center. The delegates came from Tilburg (Netherlands), Satakunta (Finland), Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill (Mauritius), Eskisehir (Turkey), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Chuncheon (South Korea), Buffalo (USA), etc.
Yan pointed out that there are already over 5,500 foreign companies investing in Changzhou, including more than 50 of the Fortune Global 500 Companies. He hoped that through in-depth exchanges with sister cities, Changzhou will further promote economic and trade with other countries, as well as extensive cooperation in all areas of society, so as to achieve common development.
Up to now, Changzhou has established sister city relationships with 21 cities in 17 countries around the five continents.
