On January 30, at the Work Conference on Changzhou’s Economy and Information Technology, the main targets for 2015 have been set as following: 10% growth in industrial value-added output of enterprises above designated scale, more than 10% increase in taxes and profits, over 55 billion yuan of added output in the 200 new industrial and economic growth points, 11% growth in effective industrial input, completion of the tasks of Energy consumption per unit GDP (ECPUGDP) set by Jiangsu Province, etc.
The conference suggested that Changzhou should further implement the ‘Trinity’ strategy of industrial transformation and upgrading and strive to create new advantages of Changzhou’s industry and economy. The ‘Trinity’ strategy refers to developing strategic emerging industries in ten key industrial chains, promoting transformation and upgrading of traditional competitive industries through the ‘Double Hundreds’ plan, and improving companies’ innovation capacity by cultivating ‘Ten-Hundred-Thousand’ enterprises.
