On December 6, the foundation stone of Chenchuang Communication’s 5G base station and communications product project, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, was laid in the Jinke Park of Jintan District, Changzhou.
It is learned that this project was invested by Zhongshan Chenchuang Communication Co., Ltd., a company mainly engaged in the research and development, production, sales and service of communications antennas, radio frequency devices, optical modules and other products. It is dedicated to providing mobile network operators and equipment integrators with communications antennas, RF devices and comprehensive solutions.
The construction of the first-phase project, with an investment of 1 billion yuan and a construction area of 90,000 square meters, will be completed in two years. After putting into production, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 sets of 5G base stations and 10,000 sets of communications products, increasing sales by 5 billion yuan annually.
It is reported that earlier on October 9, the Xinwei Communications (Jiangsu) Science & Technology Park, with a total investment of 6.2 billion yuan, has been completed and put into operation in Jintan district.
