On January 16th, the Municipality organized relevant departments to watch and listen to the television and telephone conference on the housing security work covering Jiangsu Province. Mayor Yao Xiaodong participated in the meeting at Changzhou venue.
In recent years, Changzhou has kept improving the housing security system and expanding the coverage of beneficial. Besides increasing efforts to build affordable housing projects, the city also pays great attention to nurturing and developing the housing rental market and has thus figured out a new approach to the construction of affordable housing programs. During the period of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan,” nearly 20,000 low-income families have enjoyed corresponding housing security services, and the programs of low-rent housing and affordable housing have realized universal coverage for eligible residents.
