On December 26th, the Municipal Committee of CPC held a conference and reported on the work of this year and the plan for next year.
As 2011 is coming to the end, Changzhou is expected to achieve GDP of 360 billion yuan, increased by 12%; above-scale industrial output value of over 800 billion yuan, up 25%; local general budget revenue of 35 billion yuan, an increase of 22%; total fixed assets investment of 230 billion yuan, grown by 20%; urban residents’ per capita disposable income of 29,630 yuan and rural per capita net income of 14,920 yuan.
According to the Comprehensive Evaluation Report on China’s Urban Development 2011 announced by China Urban Development Institute, Changzhou ranked No.5 in an overall evaluation of scientific development.
