The three-day Senior High School Entrance Examination, or commonly known as Zhongkao, will start in Changzhou on June 18. About 34,000 candidates are going to attend the examination.
On the afternoon of June 15, Deputy Mayor Fang Guoqiang headed the senior officials of education, public security, construction and other relevant departments to inspect several test sites.
According to reports, after the zoning adjustment, this year, Zhenglu, Benniu and Zouqu towns have a total of eight junior high schools included into the Zhongkao management of main city areas. Benniu High School and Sanhekou High School are available for admitting urban students.
This year the high schools in main city areas have planned to increase enrollment. No. 3 Middle School, Tianjiabing High School, No. 5 Middle School and Xinqiao High School each planned two more classes over last year. Changzhou Senior High School of Jiangsu Province, Beijiao High School and No. 2 Middle School each added one class.
