On the morning of Nov 28, Cao Jiazhong, member of Changzhou Municipal Standing Committee of CPC and executive vice mayor, paid a visit to the headquarters of China Electronics Corporation (CEC) in Beijing. It is China's largest state-owned IT conglomerate with strong competitive advantages in high-tech electronics, e-commerce and engineering.
Cao hoped that both parties will work together to speed up the cooperation process, promote the gathering and development of the sensor industry in Changzhou and jointly push forward the construction of the sensor-featured town.
In the afternoon, Cao and his entourage visited Wu Jianguo, executive vice president of the Beijing Branch University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and Guo Qingshan, director of the Beijing Technology Transfer Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Both sides said that they will gather the advantages of personnel, resources and platforms to promote the cooperation.
