On the afternoon of June 8, Deputy Mayor Mr. Fang Guoqiang met with the delegation of NGO leaders from four African countries at the Administration Center.
Members of the delegation are executives of the media industry, experts and scholars from Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. The purpose of this visit is to better understand the concept of "Chinese Dream" and to learn about China’s approach of peaceful development and opening-up strategy of mutual benefit and common achievement, so as to explore the friendly exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between China and Africa.
During their stay in Changzhou, the delegation visited the Changzhou National High-tech District, the Science and Education Town, Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery Group, the Urban Planning Hall, and the Yancheng Remains of Spring and Autumn Period.
