On the afternoon of Dec 6, Mayor Ding Chun met with the delegation of University of Lille and IMT Lille Douai at the Administration Center.
Ding hoped that both sides will give full play to their respective advantages through cooperation and exchange, comprehensively upgrade the scientific and technological innovation ability, and continue to make new contributions in fields like synergistic innovation and development, personnel training, etc.
In recent years, Hohai University Changzhou (HHUC) has established close cooperative relations with the two French universities, focusing on dual-degree programs and exchange of visits, as well as cooperation in scientific research and other activities.
The delegation from French universities will discuss with HHUC to set up a Sino-French Institute, establish Confucius Institute in France and open the Hohai Water Institute in France.
Tang Hongwu, Party Secretary of HHUC, Xu Hui, President of HHUC, Fang Guoqiang, Vice Mayor, and Hang Yong, Secretary General of the Municipal Government, attended the meeting.
