Changzhou will invest RMB 136 million to expand one 50,000-ton berth for liquid chemical products, which is expected to start construction this year and put into operation in 2012.
With the completion of Phase III, Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Treatment Project, 50,000-ton ship has been available to pass through the Yangtze River estuary day and night. In order to meet the demand of large-scale ship and industrial development, Jiantao (Changzhou) Chemical Wharf Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB 136 million to expand one 50,000-ton berth for liquid chemical products and rebuild a 3,000-ton berth for liquid chemical products in the existing wharf, which owns the annual capacity of 155 tons. It is expected to put into operation in 2012.
