Changdang’s fresh lake food makes Jintan renowned for its fine food. On October 17th, the 4th China Changdang Lake Food Festival opened at Changdang Lake water street.
At the opening ceremony, there were activities such as awarding ceremony of provincial tourist resort, release ceremony of regional public brand of the Changdang Lake Crab in Jintan District, demonstration of Changdang Lake food and scene, etc.
Changdang Lake’s eight lake food feast is famous at home and abroad with distinct features. Each lake food cuisine provides tender meat quality, delicious taste, unique flavor and rich nutrition. The special food experience attracts over 10,000 people coming to Changzhou Lake every day in peak period. This year, based on promoting the feast, we fully explore local food cultural resources, and expand new vision of tourists. The new experience will become the highlight of this food festival.
During this festival, activities such as “Intoxicating Beauty at Changdang Lake” photography show and “Autumn of Changdang Lake” special art performance will be held. We will also organize “Meet in the Golden Autumn” activity promoting the food tourism of Changdang Lake in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou.
In order to better benefit tourists and people around the area, we have opened “Food Trip” direct bus lines and tourist shuttle bus. Every day, there are 20 direct bus lines from Jintan downtown area to Changdang Lake water street and 9 tourist shuttle buses from Changzhou downtown area to Changdang Lake scenic spot. The Administrative Committee of Changdang Lake Tourist Resort and Tourism Bureau of Jintan District, together with relative tourism enterprises such as Changzhou Shangyou Media and Chunqiu Amusement Land, are working on Changdang Lake one-day or two-day tour route and co-promoting the food and tourism of Changdang Lake as well as the landscape tourism of Jintan.
