Between March 10 and 15, a trade delegation from Jintan, Changzhou held a talent fair at Santa Clara in the Silicon Valley with the theme of “Gathering International Elite, Building an Intellectual Jintan.” More than 40 high-level personnel at the Silicon Valley attended the fair for consultation and cooperation. Meanwhile, Jintan signed the memorandum of establishing friendly relationship with Cupertino.
In recent years, Jintan has seized every chance to develop emerging industries in strategic approaches. The city’s PV industry enjoys a high profile both at home and abroad, which has already formed a complete industrial chain with over 40 PV companies. Nowadays, Jintan has become the domestic county-level city that best implements the enterprise-school-laboratory participation in a most complete industry of PV.
According to reports, Jintan’s friendship city Cupertino is where Apple, Yahoo, Hewlett-Packard and some other world famous high-tech corporate headquarters and R&D centers are located.
