On the morning of May 19, the China-UK Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Forum was held in Wujin. Mayor Ding Chun attended the forum and witnessed the unveiling of the BUPT (Changzhou) New Information Technology Research Institute together with Li Yizhong, chairman of the China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE).
In his speech, Ding Chun said that Changzhou will actively seize opportunities to accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries, deepen the research and development of big data and artificial intelligence and foster the development of intelligent manufacturing clusters and industrial Internet. To achieve these, Changzhou will continue to provide the best policy, environment and service for industrial transformation and innovation.
At the forum, experts from Zhejiang University, Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), Donghua University, University of Macau, German Academy of Science and Engineering, Qatar University and Royal Statistical Society (UK) conducted academic exchanges on topics such as the research and industrial development of global artificial intelligence technology. Li Yizhong made a keynote report on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Promotes Industrial Economic Transformation and Upgrading.
City leaders Han Jiuyun, Liang Yibo and secretary-general Hang Yong attended the event.
