From January to September, according to the statistics of Changzhou’s state tax authorities at all levels, 4,022 export enterprises had declared total 14.175 billion U.S. Dollars of exports, an increase of 2.75%. Among them, the manufacturing enterprises declared 11.189 billion U.S. Dollars, up 1.16%; and the foreign trade companies declared 2.986 billion U.S. dollars, up 9.18%.
In the declaration of export commodities, machinery and electronic, textile, and chemicals were ranked the top three. From the perspective of export market, the exports to Asia made 6.119 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 43.15 percent, an increase of 12.43%; the exports to U.S. and Europe kept declining; and the exports to Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets grew further.
