On 18th, the first phase of new factory of Rieter Textile Co., Ltd., which is located in Xuejia Town of Changzhou High-tech Zone, was officially put into operation. The Board of Directors of Rieter said that they would invest RMB 1 billion yuan within two years to build the global production base. The Consul General of Switzerland in Shanghai, the chairman of China Textile Industry Association, and the city leaders Yao Xiaodong, Dai Yuan and Xu Xinmin attended the celebration ceremony.
