On June 4, Huayan Environmental Investment (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. completed its registration, marking the official settlement of the ‘whole-region circular economy’ project of Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) in Wujin, Changzhou.
Huayan Environmental is a wholly-owned environmental management business and investment platform established by Towngas in the Chinese mainland. With a registered capital of 800 million yuan, it is the largest foreign-invested company approved to be established in Changzhou this year. Towngas is a subsidiary of Henderson Land Development Company Limited with a history of more than 150 years. Since 1993, it has launched nearly 300 projects in the mainland. Henderson Land is one of the largest corporations in Hong Kong, operating through property development, property leasing, department store operation, utility and energy, and other businesses.
Huayan Environmental will be committed to becoming Changzhou's leading environmental management company by integrating and improving Wujin's environmental protection industry chain.
