Recently, it was learned from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Civil Affairs that 11 social organizations of Changzhou have been newly recognized as 5A-level social organizations. 5A is the highest level for social organizations in China. The evaluation process includes self-assessment and application by social organization, recommendation by municipal civil affairs bureau, field appraisal by provincial evaluation panel, etc.
In recent years, Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs has been constantly improving standardized management and sustainable development of social organizations, and supporting these organizations to play an active role in social progress in collaboration with relevant local authorities. Up to now, Changzhou has a total of 14 5A-level social organizations, ranking the first in Jiangsu.
