The 8th Flower Expo is the most influential one with the highest level and largest scale comparing with the former sessions. The theme of the Expo is "Happy as Flowers." Since its opening on September 28, exhibitors from all over China and 32 other countries have participated in the Expo, involving 2,682,600 visitors, of which 1,827,800 passengers have visited the main exhibition area and 854,800 passengers have visited the minor exhibition area.
The Expo is also the longest one in extension, with the largest number of participating provinces, countries and enterprises, as well as the most various feature activities.
It is reported that after the Expo is closed, the main exhibition hall will become the International Convention and Exhibition Centre, while the Science Pavillion, Nature Pavillion, Art Pavillion, Yaji Garden, and some outdoor exhibition areas will be retained and integrated into a floral theme park - China Flower Exposition Park.
