Recently, it was learned from Changzhou Binjiang Economic Development Zone (Chunjiang Town) that both its industrial output and annual turnover exceeded 100 billion yuan in 2014.
Last year, Changzhou Binjiang Economic Development Zone achieved industrial output of 105.5 billion yuan and annual turnover of 103.5 billion yuan, both exceeding 100 billion yuan with an increase of about 14%. It is also the first industrial zone in Changzhou National Hi-tech District (CND) that surpassed 100 billion yuan in the two indicators.
This year, based on its three major industries, namely new chemical materials, equipment manufacturing and port logistics, the Zone will focus on industrial agglomeration, innovation and balancing development in pursuit of the goal of upgrading itself into a national industrial district.
