On the morning of October 16, a delegation headed by Dr. Marshall G. Jones, a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) and a research and development innovator, visited Changzhou Vocational Institute of Engineering’s Welding Training Base, Tianxun Drone Academy, Underground Engineering Center, Robot Practice Base, etc.
Ma Xin, Associate Dean of the Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology Application, Jiangsu Academy of Sciences, Dr. Peng Zhixue, Director of the Joint Research and Development Center of Metal Additives Manufacturing Enterprise, Jiangsu Academy of Sciences, Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology, and Wu fangsheng, President of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Engineering, accompanied the delegation on their field visits.
The two sides held talks and discussed the key points in the process of training laser welding technicians. As a world-renowned laser technology expert, Dr. Jones said that he was deeply impressed by the training equipment such as laser cutting machine and laser welding robot seen during the visit, and highly recognized the talents of Changzhou vocational Institute of Engineering. He looked forward to in-depth cooperation in various fields.
