On the morning of September 3rd, a delegation headed by Shi Zhijun, vice mayor of Changzhou, visited Wujin District and supervises the progress of Eco-green Town program.
The delegation visited Zhenglu Town Country Park, the demonstration section of eco-greenway project, the eco-greenway of Yanzheng Road, and Yancheng Fitness Park. Zheng Zhengping, deputy chief of Wujin, reported the progress of Eco-green Town. After listening to the report, Shi made a positive comment on the overall efforts of Wujin, and gave clear instructions on how to carry out those projects delayed for some reason or requiring certain adjustment.
Shi also pointed out that to further promote this program, it is necessary for all participating units to clarify the meaning of Eco-green Town, that is, the Eco-green Town program aims at improving people’s livelihood, ecological environment and urban landscaping, which requires more efforts on “green expansion and networking" as well as new projects to better reflect the characteristics and achievements of Wujin.
