The Qingming or Ching Ming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in English, is a traditional Chinese festival on the first day of the fifth solar term of the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar.
During the three-day holiday of Qingming Festival, Changzhou’s 22 attractions in tourism statistics received 760,110 visitors, an increase of 42.24%. The operating income reached 68,135,000 yuan, an increase of over 73%.
Three 5A-class tourist attractions received more than 460,000 visitors. Among them, Universal Dinosaur Town received over 160,000 visitors, reaching 17.64 million yuan in operating income, up 96%; Tianmu Lake scenic area received more than 180,000 visitors, an increase of 61%, achieving 21.25 million yuan in operating revenue; and Yancheng Ruins of Spring & Autumn Period received 76,000 visitors, increased by 81%, making 13.07 million yuan in operating income.
Joyland Amusement Park received a total of 24,200 visitors, achieving 3.646 million yuan in operating income, an increase of 11.3%. Oriental Salt Lake Resort received a total of 25,100 visitors, reaching 4.872 million yuan in operating income.
Jintan Flower Valley, Weidun Park, Jingchuan Park and Dongpo Park received a total of 147,500 visitors.
13 rural tourist spots received nearly 150,000 tourists.
