Jintan Hi-tech Innovation Service Center has recently been recognized as a National Science and Technology Business Incubator by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
It is learned that the service center was established in 2008, with a total investment of 120 million yuan. In 2009, it was identified as a Provincial High-tech Innovation Service Center, after which it established a Provincial Overseas Returnees Pioneer Park. Over the past five years, the center has incubated 125 small- and medium- sized hi-tech enterprises, providing more than 2,200 jobs. Among them, 72 companies have applied for 216 patents, 108 of which have already been authorized.
In recent years, the service center has been serving as a platform for the implementation of Jinsha Talents Program, focusing on the introduction of high-level personnel in fields of new energy, new materials, bio-medicine, high-end equipment manufacturing and other emerging industries, of which more than 70 people have got their PhDs, and over 50 companies have been established by these personnel. Moreover, 66 people have been classified as the Jiangsu Provincial Creative Talents and Leading Entrepreneurial Talents of Changzhou, granted a total of 51 million yuan for personnel and project funding.
