On the afternoon of August 28th, a delegation headed by Jin Xiaoming, director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), visited Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone (Changzhou International Innovation Park) in Wujin for a survey on Sino-Israel cooperation.
Since 2010, Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone (Wujin Economic Development Zone) has carried out in-depth cooperation with Israel and has been identified by the MOST as an International Science and Technology Cooperation Base and the Changzhou National Medical Device Park for International Innovation. In 2014, it was officially recognized as the first international innovation park co-established by China and Israel.
Up to now, the industrial zone has settled the branches of 15 Israeli enterprises such as Lycored, PTL, Taditel, Soda Tech, and so on, which are involved in automotive parts, medical devices, high-end electronic equipment, financial services, etc. Besides, another eight companies specializing in trade and business legal advice have got registered in the zone.
Jin and his delegation listened to the report on the progress of the industrial zone’s cooperation with Israel, and visited Lycored, CI3 (an Israeli incubator) and the medical device incubator in the zone.
