On February 13th, it was learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce that between January 28th and February 13th, the 43 retail companies and restaurants and three wholesale enterprises in statistical monitoring reached total sales of 2.942 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%.
Changzhou Department Store, Taifu Department Store, New Century Plaza and other four department stores achieved sales of 337 million yuan during the Spring Festival, of which garments accounted for 70%.
24 supermarkets including Tesco, Auchan, RT-Mart, Metro, and Mingdu reported sales of 456 million yuan during the holiday, an increase of 4.5%, of which food products made 341 million yuan, accounting for 75%.
Lingjiato Market reached sales increase of nearly 5% 10 days before the Spring Festival holiday.
Four appliance shops achieved sales of 121 million yuan, up 11.3%.
Xiaxi Flowers & Nursery Stock Markets reached sales of 150 million yuan, an increase of 17.6%.
During the festival, eight restaurants including Changxinglou, Jinsenandu, and Phoenix Hotel achieved revenue of 22.35 million yuan, up 5.9%.
