The Changzhou branches of Telecom, Mobile, Unicom, and Cable Network have all built their own "cloud computing center", providing for the government, enterprises and other types of users with computing, storage and application services.
The construction of Smart City has brought new opportunities for development of electronic information products and software and information service industry. In 2012, the city's electronic information industry achieved the main business income of 111.9 billion yuan, an increase of 21.8%. The six industrial sectors including electronic components, electronic and electromechanical products, and so on have been formed. Software and information services industry exceeded 20 billion yuan in the main business revenue, an increase of 40%, higher than the provincial average of 6.2 percentage points.
