A gathering to honor model workers and exemplary individuals was held in Beijing on the morning of November 24, 2020. The gathering, which honored a total of 1,689 people as national role model workers and 804 as exemplary individuals, called for efforts to promote and encourage the spirit of model workers, the value of work, and the pursuit of fine workmanship.
A total of eight exemplary individuals working in Changzhou were recognized by the state this year. They are:
Xu Nanwei, head of surgical department of The Second People’s Hospital of Changzhou;
Luo Bin, chief of the CID Third Division of Changzhou Public Security Bureau;
Liu Wenzhou, a designer from Jiangsu Huapeng Transformer Co., Ltd.;
Wu Hongsheng, head of tooling department of Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems Co.,Ltd.;
Liu Yunqing, CTO of the Smart Manufacturing Unit of CRRC Qishuyan Institute Auto Parts Branch;
Guo Zhiwang, a workshop manager of Changzhou Qiaoyu Travel Products Co., Ltd.;
Li Chengxia, a technician from Changzhou Laosan Group Co., Ltd.; and
Yao Weizhong, a workshop manager of Changzhou EGing Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.
As of this update, Changzhou has a total of 81 national model workers, 1,236 provincial model workers and 2,559 municipal model workers.
