Recently, Hurun Rich List, the 15th annual ranking of the 1000 richest individuals in China. Real estate tycoon Wang Jianlin, 59, is the richest man in China with personal fortune doubling to US$22bn, surpassing last year’s Number One Zong Qinghou, despite Zong’s wealth growing 50%. Changzhou has a total of five companies on the list, of which the Meikailong founded by the family of Che Jianxin ranked No. 212, with total assets of RMB 7.5 bn.
In Jiangsu province (excluding Nanjing), Suzhou has 9 companies, Wuxi has 5 companies, Zhenjiang has 2 companies, Taizhou has 2 companies and Suqian has 3 companies on the list.
