It was learned on December 7th, 2015 that Forbes has ranked Changzhou the 12th among best commercial cities on the Chinese mainland. Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen rank in the top three. In Jiangsu province, Nanjing, Wuxi and Suzhou rank 6th, 8th and 11th respectively.
Since 2004, Forbes has ranked cities by evaluating indexes such as human resources, urban scale, consumption ability, passenger traffic, freight transport, operating costs, vitality of private economy, and innovation.
