Recently, it was learned from the Biqiao town in Liyang that the D&M drone project of Baofolin Auto’s German technology R&D center, with a total investment of 330 million yuan, was settled in Biqiao. The electric rescue drones developed by the center will be used in search and rescue and for air transport, police, oil and gas inspection, power line inspection, etc.
It is reported that the drone adopts a revolutionary ducted fan design. Each fan has a self-contained system that operates independently. The project is dedicated to establishing an integrated air rescue service network in the domestic search and rescue field.
According to reports, the first phase of the project will build a 15,000 square meter base completely adopting the European plant design.
At present, the Jiangsu Qiying Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. as a new company to implement the project has been incorporated. It is expected that the plant will be put into operation before the end of the year, upon which the annual sales will reach about 350 million yuan.
