Recently, Xu Guozhong, president of Guomao Reducer Group Co., Ltd., visited Nilka County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, as a member of the Wujin delegation. There he donated 500,000 yuan to the three-year charitable program called “Wujin Guangcai Activities in Xinjiang”.
Guomao Reducer Group is ranked the top of the reducer industry in China. In 2013, the group achieved gross revenue of 5.5 billion yuan, of which the sales revenue of reducer and motor reached 2.2 billion yuan.
Since Guomao Group was founded 22 years ago, it has been playing an active role in charitable activities and has donated more than 60 million yuan over these years, including a donation of 10 million yuan to Wujin Charity Federation in 2006 and a three-year Guangcai Foundation (10 million yuan per year) starting from 2012. Guomao Group has been granted honorary titles such as Jiangsu Charity Award, Award of Outstanding Contribution to Wujin District Guangcai Program, etc. In addition, Guomao Group is ranked in the 2013 Forbes China Philanthropy List, and it is Wujin’s first equipment manufacturing enterprise that has been selected into the list.
