It is learned from Changzhou Economic and Information Technology Commission that Changzhou has identified 81 first sets of major equipment and key components by the end of November, of which Wujin District indentified 38 items.
The items identified as first sets of major equipment and key components will be granted 200,000 yuan as award. The city is also planning to develop an insurance system for such items.
According to the Identification Measures for First Sets of Major Equipment and Key Components, there are mainly three categories: firstly, high-tech equipment for development of strategic emerging industries such as new energy, advanced materials, biotechnology, new medicines, and so on, as well as key components for these equipment; secondly, high-tech equipment and key components for traditional industries, such as metallurgy, cement and chemicals, which require transformation and upgrading; and thirdly, high-end equipment and key components for industries of aerospace, rail transit and intelligent manufacturing with typical features like innovation, energy conservation, materials saving, environmental protection, etc.
