It is learned that Changzhou currently has about 400 youth organizations providing all kinds of service in communities, including charity, volunteering, technological innovation, healthy lifestyle, etc. In order to improve the management and functions of youth organizations, this year the China Communist Youth League Changzhou Committee has established a “nursery” mode for the progress of youth organizations in Changzhou. The committee has also held a series of activities like Changzhou Youth Festival, opened a public WeChat account named Home of Youth Associations, and established the Youth Organizations Union. The purpose of such initiatives is to foster social organizations into “big trees”, improve matchmaking between social organizations and communities, recommend outstanding youth organizations to provide services for neighborhoods, and help these organizations get settled down in communities.
