To defend the people and properties from flooding caused by the heavy rain in recent days, the Municipal Committee for Disaster Reduction and the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau have initiated the Level-III Emergency Response & Disaster Relief at 18:00, June 27th.
All localities and departments, in accordance with the requirement of Changzhou’s Contingency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief, will try the best to minimize loss of life and property of the people and safeguard social stability in the disaster areas.
Currently, the city has already evacuated more than 20,000 people affected by the flood.
