On March 2nd, the Changzhou-Shanghai Economic Cooperation Week 2015 was opened in Shanghai.
This event has been held for nine straight years by Changzhou Municipal People’s Government. During the past nine sessions, a platform has been established and maintained for business cooperation and exchanges between Changzhou and Shanghai.
Between March 2nd and 6th, there will be a variety of promotion activities, field visits, seminars, etc. Compared to the previous sessions, the schedule this year is much busier. Missions of the municipal and district governments will visit about 150 companies/organizations in Shanghai, of which the city leaders will participate in 30 visits. The main purpose of such visits is to promote the progress of projects in negotiation, and particularly, to seek new programs with cooperation potential.
