From July 24 to 25, a delegation of CPC Weihai Municipal Committee and Weihai Municipal People’s Government, Shandong province, led by Zhang Haibo, deputy secretary of the CPC Weihai Municipal Committee, visited Changzhou. City leaders Ding Chun, Yu Zhiping, Cao Jiazhong, Chen Jianguo, Shi Zhijun and Liang Yibo received the delegation.
At the meeting between the two sides, Ding Chun, deputy secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and mayor of Changzhou, gave a comprehensive introduction to the economic and social development of Changzhou. He hoped that the two cities will further strengthen ties, especially in the areas of economic and trade cooperation, industrial development, and cultural exchanges.
Zhang Haibo said that Changzhou has always been an example for Weihai to learn from. The purpose of their visit this time is to learn more about Changzhou in order to build Weihai into a more influential city that is both livable and suitable for tourism and education.
During their stay in Changzhou, the delegates visited the China Graphene Technology Industry Exhibition Hall, Changzhou Science and Education Town, Changzhou Airport Industrial Park, and so on, to learn more about Changzhou's technological innovation and business environment.
