On June 22nd, it was informed from the news conference held by Changzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission that the city has started a new round of construction of the ten major industrial chains.
The ‘upgraded version’ of major industrial chains can be summarized as "five new, three high and two intelligent".
"Five new" refers to the new energy vehicles and automotive core parts, new materials, new generation of information technology, new energy industry, and new medicine and biotechnology. "Three high" refers to high-end rail transportation equipment, aviation equipment and energy saving. "Two intelligent" refers to the intelligent manufacturing equipment and smart grid.
The upgraded version replaced the original low-end products of car and auto parts, smart grid, agricultural and engineering machinery, pharmaceutical intermediates and chemical drugs with new generation of information technology and energy saving, bio-agriculture, bio-manufacturing and other related industries.
It is learned that in 2016, the enterprises above designated size in Changzhou’s ten major industrial chains achieved output value of 421.27 billion yuan, accounting for 34.3% of the total.
