In the latest list of well-known trademarks released by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC), Changzhou takes six places. Up to now, a total of 89 brands of Changzhou have been identified as well-known trademarks, the number of which ranks second in Jiangsu Province. Among them, 49 brands are from Wujin District, ranking first in country-level cities of Jiangsu and taking the lead in China.
These well-known trademarks represent four new features: firstly, remarkable achievements have been made in the cultivation of leading enterprises of the ‘ten major industrial chains’ and traditional dominating industries; secondly, well-known trademarks of high-tech enterprises have been growing steadily; thirdly, the number of well-known trademarks of potential enterprises for listing has been increasing; and fourthly, the number of well-known trademarks of modern service enterprises has raised gradually.
