On August 16, it was learned from the Publicity Department of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC that this year, Changzhou will make great efforts to promote the upgrading of cultural industry, the investment in cultural industry will exceed 18 billion yuan, while the added value of cultural industry is expected to account for over 5.1% of the GDP. Up to now, Changzhou has more than 8,500 cultural enterprises, including 469 companies each with the fixed assets of 5 million yuan and above, and 36 enterprises each with the added value of over 100 million yuan. The two major cultural industry clusters have been established in Xinbei and Wujin Districts.
