Dear residents,
First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of seeking medical care during the lockdown. Thanks for you and your family’s understanding and cooperation in the matter. To enhance health services by improving access to basic care, the city’s healthcare facilities will provide targeted services for different types of medical issues.
1. For patients with chronic conditions, an initial consult or a subsequent visit will be provided online, along with prescription delivery services. Pregnant women will receive phone calls from the designated maternal and child healthcare facilities in their areas for further assistance. Temporary clinics have been set up in areas under controlled management, where the assigned healthcare professionals are ready to provide basic medical care.
2. For people requiring general medical care such as internal medicine, surgical, pediatric, adolescent gynecology, or peripherally inserted central venous catheter (PICC) services, and those who are pregnant women or patients with cancer or on hemodialysis, please contact your residential community. The community staff will help you consult with a healthcare professional for an evaluation and then transport you to the designated hospital if necessary.
3. For patients requiring emergency care, such as those having a stroke or severely injured, please call 120. An ambulance will promptly send the patient to a hospital capable of treating that emergency condition.
Emergency medical services are a valuable resource. Please do not call frivolously. We must cherish such resources and ensure public access to emergency services. Together we will defeat the epidemic!
