The year 2016 marks the beginning of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan. Against the backdrop of popular entrepreneurship and innovation as well as economic restructuring and upgrading, and in line with the development concepts of innovation, coordination, green growth, openness and sharing, Changzhou is going to hold the 2016 China (Changzhou) International Exchange & Cooperation Conference on Science & Technology Innovation from May 17th to 19th under the theme of “promoting international technology transfer and sharing international cooperation experiences.” During the conference, there will be three thematic international technical exchange seminars (respectively on smart grid, graphene, and rail transport) in Changhzou.
The conference will be held during the 2016 China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Technology Exhibition sponsored by Changzhou Municipal People’s Government. It is organized by Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and Changzhou Foreign Affairs Office, and co-organized by Changzhou International Exchange Center of Science and Technology, etc. By then, the invited university and institution representatives will give keynote speeches on the characteristics and advantages of their latest technological achievements. They are: Prof. Paul Feigin, Asian President of ISIS Innovation of Oxford, Mr. Choi Seungmook, Director of Strategic Industry Department of Chuncheon Municipal Government, South Korea, Mr. David Baghurst, Asian President of ISIS Innovation of Oxford, Prof. Mikael Syväjärvi, Linköping University, Sweden, PhD. Penglei Dai, School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering of UNSW, Australia, and Mr. Alon Maharshak, Executive Manager of SHENG-BDO, Israel.
