Recently, Changzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CZPAFFC) organized a delegation of orthopedists to Austria and Switzerland for a eight-day academic exchange visit in order to enhance Changzhou’s international health cooperation, to learn from advanced medical technologies and to improve the city’s health services.
The delegates visited Stolz Alpe, a famous orthopedic hospital in Austria, and the University Hospital of Lausanne in Switzerland, and carried out academic exchanges in the fields of spine surgery, hip and knee replacements, orthopedic trauma care, etc. They also had live surgery observation and discussed on the possibilities of future cooperation.
Going forward, based on its international resources and channels, the CZPAFFC will keep promoting either academic or technological exchanges and cooperation between Changzhou’s health sector and world-renowned medical institutions.
