China has experienced a resurgence of COVID-19 since March with some provinces seeing a rapidly rising number of infections, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed.
For the upcoming Qingming Festival holiday, also known as Tomb-sweeping Day, from April 3 to 5, residents are advised to avoid unnecessary trips, especially to cities with high-risk or medium-risk areas. Travelers who must come to Changzhou during this period should strictly abide by the city's epidemic-related measures.
Also, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism urged residents in areas amid coronavirus outbreaks to avoid any outing activities during the holiday. People in low-risk areas are advised not to travel to other provinces or regions.
Travelers and tourists should observe anti-pandemic rules, by checking temperature and health codes, wearing face masks, maintaining social distancing, and following the government's health instructions, to prevent the spread of the virus. Those who have symptoms such as cough and fever should cease traveling and seek treatment as soon as possible.
