In 2014, Changzhou focused on the development of ten main industrial chains and modern service industry, made great efforts to attract investment from the Fortune 500 companies, state-owned enterprises and large private enterprises, held successfully the annual Changzhou Int'l Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and introduced a number of outstanding projects.
Changzhou further implemented the ‘Trinity’ strategy of industrial transformation and upgrading, supported the growth and expansion of 100 competitive service enterprises, and promoted the construction of 100 key service projects and 30 service industry clusters. In addition, Changzhou maintained a steady lead in the progress of agricultural modernization in Jiangsu.
