Recently, the results of the evaluation of the innovation carriers of Sunan National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zones were released. The Graphene Scientific & Technological Achievements Industrialization Base of Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Zone has been selected into the first batch of 17 Sunan Scientific & Technological Achievements Industrialization Bases.
It is learned that the Graphene Scientific & Technological Achievements Industrialization Base, depending on Changzhou Graphene Technology Industrial Park, will focus on the coordinated transfer of scientific and technological achievements, the promotion of high-end manufacturing development through innovation, and the demonstration of professional services, makerspaces and diversified inputs, in order to forms a new mechanism and model for the transfer and transformation of graphene technology.
According to the plan, by 2020, the base will transform and apply a number of major scientific and technological achievements with independent intellectual property rights and drive the optimization and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, as well as build 100,000 square meters of innovative and entrepreneurial carriers such as R&D institutes, incubators and accelerators.
