In response to the low-cost competition raised by the apparel manufacturing in Southeast Asia, Jintan’s garment enterprises, on the one hand, strengthen exports through flagship products; on the other hand, develop the domestic market with supportive policies.
From January to July, the city's 108 textile and garment enterprises above designated size achieved sales of 5.01 billion yuan, an increase of 25.41%. Meanwhile, enjoying the two “national reputations” of "China's Star City of Export Garment Manufacturing" and "China Apparel Sourcing Base", the garment industry of Jintan, with 30 years of cooperation credibility and high quality, are building reputation in the international market.
