On October 21st, the Sino-Korean Forum on Science and Technology Exchanges and Cooperation in the Free Trade Environment & Sino-Korea Exhibition on High and New Technology cosponsored by China Science and Technology Exchange Center and Korea Technology Risk Foundation was held in Changzhou. Over 100 entrepreneurs from both Korea and China gathered at the dragon city for in-depth communication.
On June 1st this year, Chinese Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng and the Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Yoon Sang-jick respectively represented the governments of the two countries and officially signed the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Korea in Seoul. The rage of the agreement covers 17 fields such as the trade in goods, the service trade, the investment and the rules and the “trade and economic topics in the 21st century” like the e-commerce, the competitive policy, the government procurement and the environment.
The Korean high-tech enterprises attending this forum brought their high-tech projects and products which met the needs of Chinese market. They cover different areas like bio-tech, information communication and e-commerce. Some projects are seeking for partners. The cooperation between enterprises of both sides will achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and help both sides stand firm in the furious completions in the world’s high-tech industry.
At the forum, Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau and Korea Technology Risk Foundation signed an agreement on business cooperation. According to the agreement, both sides will use its advantages and resources to promote R&D projects, co-build innovation platform and advance achievement transformation in order to upgrade their comprehensive strength.
