Recently, the three-year plan for tourism industry has been officially initiated in Jintan. This program aims at building four Jiangnan-style blocks in areas of Maoshan, Changdang Lake and south of the city, including the Oriental Salt Lake City Block featured with the culture of Taoism; the Maodong Street as an integration of tourism, business and entertainment; the complex called Changdang Lake No.1 providing a variety of facilities and services for tourists; and the Chengnan Folk Street along the Dan-Jin-Li River.
Such projects will play an active role in the development of urban tourism in Jintan.
