Recently, the Top 100 Chinese Destinations for Ecotourism and Health Preservation has been released. Liyang Tianmu Lake Tourism Resort is ranked in the list for its rich tourism resources and outstanding natural environment.
In the first half of 2014, Tianmu Lake Tourism Resort has received 3,642,000 visitors (about 20,000 per day), an increase of 7%. The Tourism income reached 470 million yuan, up 22%.
The selection of Top 100 Chinese Destinations for Ecotourism and Health Preservation was co-sponsored by Chinese County Travel Federation, the website of Chinese County Travel, and Global Travel Newspaper. It aims to further promote Chinese traditional culture and enhance regional cultural competitiveness through healthy development of local tourism.
